3rd Time Lucky is a musical duo who produce a 
‘big band’ sound which is guaranteed to astound 
audiences.  

The duo unites the talents of John Wylie in guitar 
and lead vocals and Rachel Wylie in lead vocals 
and percussion.  Their amazing vocal abilities, 
together with their stage presence, has seen 3rd 
Time Lucky quickly become one of the most sort 
after acts on the club/hotel/corporate 
entertainment circuit.

Both John and Rachel began their careers in 
several successful Sydney bands.  They then spent 
a number of years in cabaret and theatre 
restaurant shows, and more recently as members 
of the Australian Tina Turner Show. 

3rd Time Lucky  have also had the great pleasure 
of supporting Australia’s  own Daryl Braithwaite 
and world renowned artist Marcia Hines at several 
venues on their recent tours around the country. 
Opening as the support act for these great 
Australian icons has attracted many accolades for 
the talented duo.
